   Copacetic DT is a locally owned and operated company, headquartered in Eagle River, Alaska.  CDT has been approved by the State Department of Public Safety for the concealed carry class.  CDT is licensed through the state of Alaska.  As required by state statute, Chief Instructor, Dr. M. Hildon Guy is a certified pistol instructor with the NRA.  He is also a Range Safety Officer with the NRA.  Dr. Guy is a certified martial arts teacher (Global Martial Arts University) and has black belts in Shotokan Karate, Shokenryu Karate, and Bojutsu (staff technique).  He is affiliated withthe American Karate Association, Copacetic Martial Arts Confederation, Global Martial Arts University, and the World Wide Martial Arts Assocation.

   You’ll learn to be a more accurate shooter with CDT, but more importantly, you’ll learn how to be safe when shooting and how, through proper training, to be confident enough to properly deal with confrontational situations. Your training will show through in how you handle yourself and most of those that might want to do you or your family harm will avoid you; they are looking for someone that isn’t ready and isn’t prepared. After training with CDT, you will be ready and prepared. 

  CDT can help you obtain a conceal/carry permit that will be recognized in the vast majority of states. Copacetic also offers individualized training covering a broad range of topics that are all designed to make you much more confident in using a handgun in a safe and responsible way.  CDT also teaches active shooter response training classes and unarmed defense classes.
